I crushed my pelvis and crushed 2 vertebrae in 1994. I have had increasing pain over the years and finally in 2015 it was clear I would have to get used to the idea of being drug dependent. Since going to a2healingarts I have gotten much better and Ms Esseichick has helped me more than I could have guessed she could have. I’m planning to live without pain going forward.
Cynthia is exceptional! Each session with her addresses my body and mind holistically–we discuss recent stresses or injuries and she works to restore me. I have a few ongoing issues–my Crohn’s disease affects and is affected by general and localized inflammation. When flaring I can get painful, blistery eczema on the palms of my hands. Cynthia helps me to keep this ongoing condition in check, and gain perspective on it, as well. Acupuncture with her was even effective in completely relieving me of an acute pinched nerve/muscle issue in my back last week. It was gone within days of treatment, and this area, when it occasionally gives me issues, is usually sore for months. She also treats me for menstrual regularity and generalized female reproductive health, which is very effective. I cannot sing her praises highly enough.
I first came to Cynthia shortly after an ectopic pregnancy that required the surgical removal of my Fallopian tube. I felt bloated and hormonal; after just one visit I experienced a remarkable difference both physically and emotionally. Cynthia helped to not only balance my hormones and heal my wounds, she also nurtured my spirit through an incredibly difficult time. Following this, I continued to see Cynthia and credit her expertise and gentle guidance with my subsequent successful and easy pregnancy. She treated my whole self throughout my pregnancy, and after the birth. I have complete trust in her and her abilities as an acupuncturist and a healer. She is nothing short of remarkable!
Some background: I’m not naturally inclined toward integrative medicine, but went to Cynthia for help with headaches on the recommendation of my wife. I’m really glad I did. My ~15 acupuncture sessions were definitely helpful in reducing my headache burden — and very relaxing. I always looked forward to the weekly sessions with Cynthia; I only stopped seeing her due to an out-of-state move.
I very much recommend giving Cynthia a try. She is quality!
Cynthia has been treating me and my family for over 20 years. She is an outstanding doctor. Cynthia has excellent academic credentials in addition to her proven healing skills and therapeutic touch. She genuinely cares for the welfare and health of her patients. When evaluating her patient’s condition she takes the time to listen carefully to their symptoms, asking questions that lead her to a diagnosis. She then formulates a treatment plan which she implements in a professional manner.
Cynthia is exceptionally knowledgeable about the human body, Chinese herbal medicine and the art of acupuncture. She is perceptive, intuitive, and compassionate, and radiates a shining spirit which encompasses her patients. When you leave her office you feel uplifted, serene and on the path to better health. Cynthia was able to resolve my headaches that had endured for over four months prior to her treatment. Another time she was able to dissipate a stiff neck from which I had suffered for two months. I also received a general “well being” acupuncture treatment which acted like a spring tonic. My daughter, after a difficult first pregnancy and delivery, went to Cynthia during the last month of her second pregnancy. She received weekly acupuncture treatments and at the last session she actually left the office in labor. The delivery was quick and smooth.
I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend Cynthia’s practice for healing your medical issues.
